The current director of the Confucius Institute in Bahrain is Dr. Zhou Jian. The institute currently has three public-funded teachers, four local teachers, and five volunteer teachers, all of whom bring a wealth of teaching experience and expertise to the CIUOB. Each teacher excels in their respective areas, specializing in language instruction and cultural dissemination. They are adept at tailoring course content to meet the diverse needs and proficiency levels of their students, making Chinese language learning engaging and enjoyable. Moreover, our team actively organizes a variety of cultural activities, enhancing students' language skills while deepening their understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture through dynamic classroom interactions and extracurricular events.
Zhou jian（周建）
Zhou is currently the Chinese Director of Confucius Institute at University of Bahrain (CIUOB) and a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Management, Shanghai University, Shanghai, China.
Yanan Zhang （张雅楠）
Yanan have Chinese teaching experience in China and abroad nearly 5 years, diversified teaching objects include elementary school students, secondary specialized students, university students and staffs of MOFA, MOI, BDF in Bahrain.
Yuexin Nong （农悦馨）
Yuexin have dedicated 7 years to working at overseas Confucius Institutes, promoting cultural exchange and language learning. Her experience spans across diverse regions including the United States, Thailand, and Africa.
Ma Lihua（马丽华）
Ma got my master's degree in Linguistics from Sichuan University. She've been working in an American company since graduated, about six years till now.
Ada（王湘键）
Ada is graduated from university in 1996, after which I worked as a chip engineer in China for six years. Following that, I pursued further studies in France and then worked for several years across France, Italy, and Switzerland.
ALREEM ALMHAIRAT （茉莉老师）
Alreem have a flexible style of teaching that can cater to all students and abilities. I would also say that I am a high-achieving teacher. For example, in my last roles, I managed to turn around an underperforming classes.
Yuanyuan Shen（申媛媛）
Ms. Shen has extensive experience teaching Chinese to a wide range of students, including staff classes, HSK classes, children's classes, international schools and so on. She teaches a wide range of subjects and her lively classroom has been widely praised by students.
Zhang Fan（张繁）
Zhang has a solid grasp of Chinese and culture, excels in cross-cultural communication, and is passionate about helping students appreciate Chinese language and culture. She is committed to contributing to the global spread of Chinese culture through her teaching efforts.
Yongjian Huang（黄永健）
Huang is a volunteer teacher at the CIUOB, passionate about traditional Chinese culture and arts like calligraphy and Tai Chi. He effectively breaks down complex topics, making learning enjoyable and accessible.
Teng Yangyang（滕阳阳）
Teng Yangyang come from eastern China and am full of passion for cultural communication and distribution. She look forward to exploring the charm of language and culture with students from different backgrounds.
Wang Xinni（王心妮）
Wang is passionate about language teaching and cross-culture communication Through her teaching, she aims to help students speak Chinese language, understand the profound Chinese culture, and gain a more comprehensive view of China.
Lin Yezi（林葉子）
Lin aims to spark students' interest in Chinese, allowing them to enjoy the beauty and fun of the language. She believes language learning goes beyond vocabulary and grammar, encompassing the understanding and experience of culture.
Jiang Han（蒋涵）
Jiang is from Jiangsu, China and currently an international Chinese language teacher. I enjoy traveling, learning about the cultures of different countries, and exploring new things.
