Self Introduction
My name is Ada, and I am currently a Chinese language teacher at the Confucius Institute of the University of Bahrain. I graduated from university in 1996, after which I worked as a chip engineer in China for six years. Following that, I pursued further studies in France and then worked for several years across France, Italy, and Switzerland.
Later, I moved to the Gulf region, where I lived in Kuwait, Dubai, Oman, and Bahrain for an extended period. During my time here, I spent over a decade teaching Chinese.
Additionally, I worked for five years with the French Institutes in Oman and l’Association Francophone of Bahrain. In Bahrain, I also served as the only officially recognized Chinese tour guide.
Chinese is my native language, and I am also fluent in English and French. Currently, besides teaching at the Confucius Institute, I am the Secretary-General of the Chinese Association in Bahrain. In this role, I am dedicated to helping the Chinese community in Bahrain with their business development and enriching their social life.
